50 MLA: Get Citations While Searching

How to get citations while searching?

Get an automatically generated citation in OneSearch and many of our databases.

Look for a tools section in databases to email the article, get the permanent links/persistent URLs,  and retrieve the citation. Sometimes you can email both the material and citation at the same time.

WARNING: Citations in OneSearch are missing the permalink or DOI.  You will need to include them by copying and pasting a permalink/DOI/stable URL preferably from the database. Use the OneSearch permalink if not available in a database.

Double-check that the entire citation is correct using the next page.
