42 Writing Process: Literary Analysis Pre-writing

Once you have selected your text, you should do some pre-writing.

You have choices.

• You can do a K – W – L.
• You can create a list of ideas related to your approved question
• You can do a graphic organizer like a bubble map.
• You can generate at least ten questions about your literary selection.
