Rhetorical Styles Conclusion

In Rhetorical Styles, you have learned about a wide variety of rhetorical development strategies that will help you in most all of the essays you encounter in college. Sometimes, you’ll write essays that require a specific focus on one of these rhetorical styles. Other times, you’ll write essays that use combinations of these styles.

The important thing is to think about the strategies you have learned about here and think about how they might apply to your writing assignments. Many times, your professors won’t label an assignment as a compare and contrast or a process essay, but thinking about which rhetorical styles will work best given your assignment directions can help you become a more effective—and efficient—writer.
