8 Dedicating time does not mean finishing quickly
While allocating enough time to achieve a focused state is important, what is not being advocated is to finish the assignment in one sitting. In fact, returning to the assignment is necessary to offer a fresh perspective and edit what has been written so far. Additionally, if there is some form of presentation on the information to follow, returning frequently to the project will help the student memorize the information. In psychology, the time spent between study sessions is equally important and is called the incubation period. When the student returns to the project, it will force them to recall the information, which helps them memorize it further(Jones).
