Appendix A: Diversity Equity and Inclusion
The authors acknowledge a commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. During our development processes, the authors undertook substantial efforts to properly represent genders, races, cultures, geographies, ethnic backgrounds, disabilities, nationalities, ages, sexual orientations, socio-economic status, and diverse viewpoints in our book. We acknowledge that even a well-informed and well-meaning author can misstate or misconceive diversity/representation issues, and have followed established guidelines and frameworks in order to mitigate that potential.
