3 Roadblocks to Critical Thinking

Congratulations! You now have a good understanding of strong-sense critical thinking and the need to base your claims on reality. However, all of us are susceptible to making mistakes in our thinking even when we commit ourselves to examine the evidence and base our judgments on reality. As the previous video pointed out, we all have our own “truths,” and those truths often contradict each other.

As you begin to formulate your opinion and are getting ready to start uncovering sources, you’ll want to watch out for roadblocks to not only your critical thinking but also the roadblocks others might throw up in front of you in an attempt to win you over.
