19 Which is the Academic Journal Article?

Identify which of the following is a scholarly/academic journal article

Here are some qualities of Academic Journal articles. They typically include:

high level of complexity in language

a References/Works Cited page

a volume number (Watch out! Some newspapers include this.)

an Abstract (Watch out! Some library databases included abstracts for newspaper articles.)

authors who are faculty members at Universities

12-15 pages or more of content (Watch out! There are some short academic journal articles out there.)

Headings for different sections of the article (Watch out! Some lengthy popular sources may include this.)

(Do not attempt to read the articles in their entirety. Instead, scan them for clues about what type of source they are. All three of the sources are related to the topic: “Should the US utilize enhanced interrogation/torture to extract information from terror suspects?”)
