    The consonants r and rr

  • The pronunciation of the consonant r in Spanish is similar to the double t in butter and petty.
  • Now, at the beginning of a word or after E or N, is pronounced with a trill.

    For example, reservado    sonrisa

  • The rr is always pronounced with the trill, as in carro.
