Three or More Authors

In general, in-text citations require the author’s last name and the year when available. When you have three or more authors from one source, include the first author followed by “et al.” and include them in the order they appear in the source:

(Author et al., year)

Few studies have reviewed behavioral nudges that may impact hiring bias (O’Meara et. al., 2020).
