For active voice, put the agent of the action in the subject position of the sentence.

Passive Voice:                                                                  Active Voice:

The garden was tended by Joshua.                              Joshua tends the garden.

I am excited by your presence.                                    Your presence excites me.

The helicopters are serviced by professionals.          Professionals service the helicopters.
